I The inheritance that we are going to receive

30who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

II The pathway to glory is through suffering

Some benefits of suffering

  • For the trial of our faith
  • For the exercise of patience
  • For the mortification of sin
  • To wean us from the world
  • To draw us closer to Christ
  • To prepare us for glory
