- The Spirit indwells
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another
Helper (paraclete), that He may abide with you forever—17 the Spirit
of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him
nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will
be in you. - The Spirit teaches
John 14:26 But the Helper (paraclete), the Holy Spirit, whom the
Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring
to your remembrance all things that I said to you. - The Spirit testifies
John 15:26 But when the Helper (paraclete) comes, whom I shall send
to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the
Father, He will testify of Me. - The Spirit is sent
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that
I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (paraclete) will not
come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Article 11:
That the Holy Ghost is true and eternal God
We believe and confess also, that the Holy Ghost, from eternity,
proceeds from the Father and Son;
and therefore neither is made, created, nor begotten, but only
proceedeth from both;
who in order is the third person of the Holy Trinity;
of one and the same essence, majesty and glory with the Father, and
the Son;
and therefore, is the true and eternal God, as the Holy Scriptures teach
us.

as an enemy, to hate it as an enemy, to loathe
it as an enemy and to arm against it as an
enemy.
