Matthew 21:9 (NKJV)

9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

I  The King entering the city of God.

II  The King is also the priest.

Ride on! ride on in majesty!In lowly pomp ride on to die;

In lowly pomp ride on to die;

Bow Thy meek head to mortal pain,

Then take, O God, Thy power and reign.


III  The kingly priest is also the supreme prophet.

Matthew 21:10 (NKJV)

10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”

18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.
