2So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
3Give us day by day our daily bread.
4And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.”

- What do we pray for in the second petition?
In the second petition, which is, “Thy kingdom come,” we pray,
That Satan’s kingdom may be destroyed;
and that the kingdom of grace may be advanced,
ourselves and others brought into it, and kept in it;
and the kingdom of glory may be hastened.
