2 Tim. 2:20-26
2Tim. 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honour and some for dishonour.
2Tim. 2:21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2Tim. 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2Tim. 2:23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
2Tim. 2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
2Tim. 2:25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
2Tim. 2:26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Acts 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
1Tim. 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
I The pursuit of personal holiness and usefulness

II The manner of correcting others
Titus 3:2 … to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
Titus 3:3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
