Our Services on the Lord’s Day

We gather for worship each Lord’s Day at Maroubra Presbyterian Church. We believe that Christian worship is first and foremost about God: hearing His Word, responding to Him in prayer and praise, and receiving the means of grace He has given to His Church.

For that reason, our services are deliberately simple, reverent, and centred upon Scripture.

Visitors are always welcome at both our morning and evening services.

Morning Worship

Sunday — 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Our morning service brings the congregation together to worship God through prayer, praise, the reading of Holy Scripture, and the preaching of His Word.

Following the service, children may attend Sunday School, while adults and university students are invited to join Adult Christian Education.

Evening Worship

Sunday — 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Our evening service provides another opportunity to gather as God’s people at the close of the Lord’s Day for worship, prayer, and the ministry of the Word.

The evening service often allows for more in-depth preaching and theological teaching, providing an opportunity to explore the Scriptures more deeply and to grow in our understanding of the Christian faith.
